The signal from the guitar goes into a Remote Loop Box that has been modified with a toggle switch for manually bypassing the loop, which contains a Wah pedal. The output of the Remote Loop Box goes to the modified Maestro Echoplex EP2, which is the basis of his Hyperspace Pedal. The output of the Echoplex goes to the top head in Rack "B" where he has a homemade manual switching device that can be used to select between his primary and backup setups.
Tom uses a very rare revision of the Model 200 Rockman Sustainor, called a "Rev 20". The major difference between this revision and the others is that instead of a "Preamp Gain" slider, it has a "Pre Treb" slider. Also, the Autoclean circuitry is different and much more responsive than most other Sustainor revisions. Tom only uses 2 modes of the Sustainor: Edge and Clean. In the effects loop of the Sustainor, he has the left channel of the PGE 2, followed by the Ultimatum Distortion, and an Instrument Equalizer. After the Sustainor, the signal goes into the right channel of the PGE 2, another Instrument Equalizer, the Stereo Chorus and finally the Stereo Echo.
Once the signal has been processed through all of the modules, it is fed into another homemade box that converts the signal into an XLR signal which is run to the house mixing board. It is also sent to the Rockman 500 Power Amps in the heads which power the many Rockman Speaker Cabinets on stage.
The top head in Rack "C" includes a Rockman "Superhead" and some other modules. These are not currently being used, but possibly were used on the Walk On ("Livin' For You") World Tour. The Superhead is basically the main processor and power amplifier of the XP 100 amplifier. This particular one has been modified to include the Autoclean circuit (which was controlled by the VCA output on the Remote Loop Box in the pedal board).
The modules to the left of the Superhead have notes on them suggesting that they were once used as processing for Tom's Hyperspace Pedal. In particular, the Sustainor on top has a note on it that says, "Noise Gate Echoplex". The Chorus/Delay module on the bottom has a note on it that says, "Modified Dummy Chorus".
